Testing Information
We encourage every versatile gun dog to be NAVHDA tested, as the test results will indicate where you are in your dog’s training program and serves as the foundation for improving our versatile breeds. The tests are qualitative evaluations against proven performance standards in simulated hunting conditions. Please review the Testing Information on the NAVHDA website for details about the NAVHDA Testing Program. You can also go directly to the Testing Form PDF
Accepted Breeds:
Test dates: Spring Test April 13th, 14th, and the 15th.
Our goal for this year’s test is to have a full, 3 day test but, we understand that may not be possible. Please keep in mind that, for this year, we will be filling up Saturday first, Friday second, and will only run dogs on Sunday if both Friday and Saturday are full. This decision was made to ensure some of our participating members who have conflicts that weekend will have the opportunity to test on Friday.
If you have a preference for a running day, note that entrants will be scheduled based on who has sent entry forms with payment first….first come, first served. So, please sign up and send your entry form and payment early!
